Adult Children of Alcoholics & Dysfunctional Families
Tuesdays, 5:30 PM
Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACA) / Dysfunctional Families is a Twelve Step, Twelve Tradition program for people who grew up in dysfunctional homes.
They meet to share their experiences growing up in an environment where abuse, neglect, and trauma infected them. They share how this affects them today and influences how they deal with all aspects of their lives.
ACA provides a safe, nonjudgmental environment that allows participants to grieve their childhoods and conduct an honest inventory of themselves and their family—so they may (i) identify and heal core trauma, (ii) experience freedom from shame and abandonment, and (iii) become their own loving parents.
There is no cost to attend.
